As the winter approaches, our food pantry will be collecting winter socks this month for men, women, and children. Any donations can be left at the side entrance of the church. Thank you for your generosity!

Bereavement Ministry
Our Lady of Good Counsel Bereavement Ministry, A New Day, periodically sponsors a six-session bereavement support group. The faith-based program encourages sharing and discussion through a developmental series of topics and offers support to people who are grieving personal loss in an environment of confidentiality, empathy, and understanding.

Youth Altar Serving
Join our growing number of youth in the OLGC altar server ministry! Parents who are interested in having their children participate or have questions can contact the office directly at 505-835-3606, or reach out to Director of Religious Education Kevin O'Connell.

Hope For Housing
Consider joining our gift card sales team or support this ministry to support local families and help end homelessness in our community by purchasing gift cards after Mass. 
Cards are available at the front church entrance twice a month. New gift card vendors include Amazon, Target, Starbucks, and Marshall's/TJ Maxx.

"Praying Hands" Prayer Shawl Ministry
The OLGC Prayer Shawl Ministry gathers monthly for prayer, fellowship, and a time to work on individual projects. The Ministry meets from October to June (except January and February) on the 1st Tuesday of each month in the parish hall from 7 to 8 or 8:30 pm for prayer and working on projects. Yarn and instructions, as well as help if needed, are provided. If anyone would like a prayer shawl or wants to join the ministry, email Terri at [email protected] or 774-261-0254.

Works on an as-needed basis to provide support to bereaved families through volunteering to set up luncheons and dessert & coffee in the parish hall after funeral Masses.
