Meets the first Wednesday of the month from October to June. We gather together in the parish hall for a time of prayer, sharing, and working on our individual projects. Prayers are woven into each stitch of the shawl so it is a sign of God's loving presence and a mantle of comfort and peace to the one who receives it. Our shawls are given to the ill, shut-ins, to those in nursing homes, to the grieving; to those celebrating a significant birthday, marriage, birth of a child, graduation. Yarn and help is available to those who need it. All ages and levels of expertise are welcome.
Twice a year, one week in December & one week in May, parish volunteers help ease the pain of family homelessness by reaching out in unconditional love to support them in their time of need. We do so by preparing and serving an evening meal each day and hosting in the evening and overnight at their new stable location, 91 June Street, Worcester.
We also host a Christmas party for them in December, complete with gifts purchased with donations from our very generous parishioners and the arrival of Santa Claus. Most importantly, by extending them our hospitality they experience Christ's love, comfort, strength, and companionship for their journey. "For I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me." Contact Terri King in the Parish Office at 508-835-3606 for more information

“Men and women hear the good news proclaimed, by word and by deed, and come to a particular Christian community as a result of this initial stirring in faith. In the Catholic Church this is called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
Restored to the church more than twenty-five years ago; the RCIA invites questions, listens non-judgmentally and establishes a model and method for any Inquirer to look at the Catholic Church in a safe and non-threatening manner. People proceed at their own pace examining their own personal, spiritual, theological and communal experience of Catholics and the Catholic Church. The primary goal is to come to know Jesus. Call the Parish Office for information about meeting time, day and place or to begin.
If you are interested please contact the Parish Office at 508-835-3606.
