Altar Ministry

The Altar Ministry assists with the weekly laundering and ironing of the Altar linens, purificators, corporals, and towels.  Ministry members also decorate the Sanctuary at Christmas and Easter.  This ministry is open to all members of the Parish.

Altar Servers help the Priest at the Altar of Christ.  This ministry is open to all children of our Parish in Grade 3 or higher who want to make a commitment to serve at the Table of the Lord.  Training is provided prior to serving and will be ongoing as needed.

Collectors/Ushers

Collectors participate in the Offeratory at Mass by taking up a collection for Parish maintenance, operations and support when the bread and wine are presented for preparation.  The ministry also involves serving as ushers to greet parishioners before and after Mass.  This ministry is open to all members of the Parish.

The Homebound Ministry fosters a living link between the Body of Christ, the Parish, and homebound parishioners who are unable to attend Mass.  This ministry is open to all Ministers of Holy Communion within our Parish.  Homebound parishioners interested in receiving the real presence of Jesus are invited to enroll in this service.

Lectors

Lectors devote time and preparation to understand the Word of God and proclaim its Good News at Mass.  Lectors also act as the master of ceremonies at the Mass by providing the introduction, announcements, and prayers of the faithful.  This ministry is open to all members of our Parish who have been confirmed and have completed a training session.

Ministers of Holy Communion

Ministers of Holy Communion have the special responsibility of distributing the Body and Blood of Christ to those at Mass, the homebound, and the terminally ill.  This ministry is open to all members of our Parish who have been confirmed and have completed a training session.

The Music Ministry supports the praise of God through song at Mass.  Cantors are trained in solo singing, lead the hymn singing and, together with the Adult Choir, provide singing support for the congregation.  Instrumentalists provide accompaniment to the Organist, and Adult and Youth Choirs participate in Christmas and Easter Masses.  This ministry is open to all members of our Parish and their families.
