Scott is presently in formation for the Worcester Diocesan Diaconate program with ordination planned for June of 2021.
A brief introduction and autobiography from Scott follows:
Hello, my name is Scott Camilleri. I grew up in Holliston, Massachusetts in a Catholic family of five children, as parishioners of St. Mary’s.
Following High School, I attended Framingham State University where I met my wife, Tracey.
We started our family in Clinton, later moving to Lancaster for sixteen years, before moving back to Clinton five years ago. We have two adult children: Our daughter Jillian is married to our son-in-law, Mike. They have a daughter, Ava, and live in Sterling. Our son Ryan lives in Leominster.
After thirty-one years in law enforcement, the last twenty-five being in the Concord Police Department, I retired in August of 2019. As the Juvenile Detective for eighteen years, my primary responsibility was serving as the School Resource Officer. I also served as the Elder Affairs officer.
In 2018 I graduated from Saint John’s Seminary with a Masters in Ministry degree. My goal was to retire from law enforcement and teach at a Catholic School. Both Tracey and I are now both teachers. In August 2019 I was blessed to be hired by Saint Leo School in Leominster. I currently teach 7
th and 8
th grade Religion and Social Studies and am enjoying it very much. My interests include reading, running/circuit training, sports, and the Patriots.
