A Parish Council is an advisory group to the pastor. It serves the wider parish by listening to fellow parishioners and bringing insight and counsel to the pastor on issues pertaining to the life of the parish. A pastor should rely on the advice of the Council when confronted with important decisions concerning the future of the parish. The Parish Council is distinct from the Finance Council in that it seeks to advise on the future direction of parish ministries and
programs.
The following parishioners have graciously accepted the responsibility of serving on the OLGC Parish Council for a term of two (2) years, effective January 1, 2023: Margaret Boatwright, Jonathan Daoust, Karen Hennessey, Stephen Muscente, Deborah Puleo, and Wayne Tupper. These individuals represent a range in age, background, and perspectives on parish life.
It is my hope that our reflection and deliberations will enhance our life together as a Catholic community.
