Jesus Christ is Lord of heaven and earth. While no longer physically here on earth, Christ is with us through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. On the Solemnity of the Ascension, we pray that we and every Christian continue Jesus' ministry of love.

The Solemnity of the Ascension is a holy day of obligation in our liturgical calendar. As a community, we will pray that our parish will remain faithful to Christ in every age.
