Mindful that some of our neighbors (especially the elderly and those coping with chronic illnesses) experience a heightened degree of loneliness and isolation, the ministry seeks to offer some needed companionship and conversation to those in need.

Those involved in the ministry work in pairs on a rotating schedule. The visits are time-limited. Those being visited are always informed beforehand of the home visit. Those visiting do not replace Eucharistic Ministers by bringing Holy Communion. Rather, the goal of this ministry is to simply offer some added companionship to those for whom it may be lacking.
