OLGC Adult Choir Update

After a long hiatus from not singing together at rehearsals or during masses due to COVID restrictions, the singers have resumed weekly rehearsals (Wednesday nights) and have resumed singing during the 10:30 am masses.
The West Boylston Board of Health, who imposed the town mask-wearing mandate, provided the following information to choir director John Leslie:
The following recommendations are adapted from those given out by the City of Boston which currently has a mask mandate:
“Performers participating in indoor activities without an audience (including rehearsals and live-streaming performances) are not subject to this mandate. We would strongly encourage students over the age of 12 and all members of a choir to get vaccinated.
Performers may remove their masks or face coverings while they are performing as long as they maintain at least six feet of distance from the nearest customer or attendee."
