John Leslie's J.E.M.S. Theatre, of West Boylston, has been given the "green" light to produce a 50th Anniversary Production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in the
OLGC Parish Hall.
A
special performance for OLGC parishioners will be given on Wednesday, August 14, at 7:00 pm for a discounted ticket price. Tickets for the Wednesday show for OLGC members will have a ticket price of $10.00 per person, all ages. Seating is limited, so tickets must be reserved in advance. Call the OLGC parish office at 508.835.3606 to make your reservation. Payments may be made after Mass with church organist John Leslie or at the door on the night of the performance.
Public performances will be given as follows::
- Friday, Aug. 16 at 7 pm
- Saturday, Aug. 17 at 1 pm
- Saturday, Aug 17 at 7 pm
- Sunday, Aug 18 at 2 pm
General Admission is $18.00, with Student & Senior Citizen Admission of $16.00.
West Boylston resident and OLGC choir member Mike Casey will play two roles: Jacob (the "father" of the Jewish nation, the father of Joseph) and Potiphar (the captain of Pharoah's guard, who purchases Joseph as a slave).
Also from West Boylston, Julia and Megan Bourque will be in the cast and their parents Tammy and Paul are assisting with the production.
OLGC's Music Director John Leslie is the stage director and producer of this production.
